Ukraine Launches Major Drone Attack on Crimea, Killing 4 and Forcing Fuel Sales Suspension Amid Rising Russia-Ukraine Tensions

Ukraine’s large-scale drone attack on Crimea killed 4 people and triggered a fuel supply suspension, marking a sharp escalation in the ongoing war with Russia.

A major escalation in the Russia-Ukraine conflict has been reported after Ukrainian forces launched a large-scale drone and missile attack on Russian-occupied Crimea, killing at least four people and injuring dozens, according to Moscow-backed authorities. The strikes reportedly targeted military installations, energy infrastructure, oil terminals, and logistics facilities, causing significant disruption across the peninsula.

Following the attacks, authorities in Crimea suspended fuel sales at petrol stations, restricting distribution mainly to state enterprises. Parts of the region also experienced temporary power outages, further deepening the crisis. Ukrainian officials stated that the strikes were aimed at weakening Russia’s military supply chain and energy infrastructure, which they claim supports ongoing operations in the war.

The attack is being described as one of the most significant strikes on Crimea in recent months, highlighting Ukraine’s expanding long-range strike capability. Meanwhile, Russia and Ukraine continue to exchange deep attacks on energy and infrastructure targets, intensifying the conflict and raising concerns over regional stability.
