Hundreds of demonstrators gathered at Habima Square in Tel Aviv to protest against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, accusing him of failing politically despite Israel’s military achievements during the recent Iran conflict. The rally, attended by around 500 people, centered on criticism of Netanyahu’s handling of the US-Iran agreement and its implications for Israel’s security and diplomacy.
One of the event’s most notable speakers, retired Israeli Air Force officer and tech entrepreneur Kobi Richter, delivered a sharp rebuke to the prime minister. Addressing Netanyahu directly, Richter declared that Israeli pilots had secured a “sweeping and total victory” in Iran, while accusing the prime minister of failing as the “supposed strong global leader.” His remarks reflected growing dissatisfaction among some Israelis who believe the government’s political strategy has not matched the military’s success.
The protest highlights increasing domestic pressure on Netanyahu as debates continue over Israel’s role in regional diplomacy, the US-Iran deal, and the country’s long-term security strategy. While supporters view the agreement as a step toward regional stability, critics argue it could undermine Israel’s strategic interests and weaken its position after the conflict.
